Christina Perez McDowell is a results-driven brand marketer who has created a name for herself by developing marketing strategies for some of the world’s leading brands. She cemented her reputation after repeatedly breathing life and opportunity into new, poorly resourced or underleveraged brands, ultimately increasing their visibility and profitability. She specializes in spirits brands and has successfully applied her fresh thinking and solution-driven methodology across industries.

 

Marketing is a fine balance between art and science. Christina has mastered her ability to make the scales work in her client’s favor. This is due in large part to her knack for understanding and connecting to their target audience.  She currently offers her consumer-centric brand marketing approach to clients in diverse industries across the country. Previously, Christina worked on comprehensive initiatives for Bacardi Global Brands & Bacardi USA, Inc. She influenced decision making on premier brands such as DEWAR’S, MARTINI, BACARDI, SEVEN TIKI, and WILLIAM LAWSON’S globally and in the U.S.A. In this capacity, she led successful new packaging development, trademark creation, line extensions, brand repositioning, public relations, strategic partnerships, experiential activations and business analytics initiatives. Her contributions to the business resulted in increases in brand awareness, affinity and velocity.

 

Christina takes the most pride in cultivating lasting relationships with her clients, partners and peers who trust her sound judgment and commitment to excellence.  She is an active member of her community where she supports charitable organizations and empowers women to achieve their personal and professional goals. She earned a Master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communication from Emerson College and two Bachelor’s degrees in Communication and Spanish from Florida State University. Christina is also a Society of Wine Educators Certified Spirits Specialist.
